Sandra Lynn (nee Stites) Thame, age 54, of Hammonton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025.
Sandra was born June 4, 1971, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to Janet (nee Blandino) Stites Greico and Paul O. Stites, Sr, and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in Seabrook, NJ, in 1989. She then went on to earn her degree from Temple University's School of Pharmacy, where she pursued her passion for helping others and became a licensed pharmacist. Sandra dedicated more than twenty years to a successful career in retail pharmacy, most recently working at Walgreens Pharmacy in Manahawkin, NJ, where she was deeply respected and loved by her colleagues and customers alike.
Sandra, affectionately known as Sandy, had a love for life's simple joys. She enjoyed taking day trips to new and interesting places, browsing local shops, and exploring antique stores. Known for her generous heart and kind spirit, Sandy never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warmth, compassion, and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many, and she will be forever remembered for the love she gave so freely.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, John Thame, mother, Janet Greico, brother, Paul O. Stites Jr. (Kelle), her cherished children, Dr. Gabriel Hemighaus, Joel Thame, Jacqueline Thame, and stepdaughter Erica Thame-Durham (Presley). She is the loving niece of Beth Kostok (the late, Bill) and Susan Harris (Frank), and cousin of Frank Jr., Lauren, and Travis Harris. She is further survived by her stepmother, Vicki Stites, and stepbrothers, Christopher and Benjamin Stites. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Derek, father, Paul O. Stites Sr., stepfather, Gary Greico, and grandparents, Luther & Jane (nee Weaver) Blandino.
Sandra's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved..
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, November 7, 2025 from 9:30-10:30am, with funeral services to follow at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N. White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ 08037
