Sandra Lynn Cicchino (nee Torkelsen) age 56 of Waterford, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday with her loving family by her side.
Sandi was born in Philadelphia, PA, graduated from Edgewood Regional High School in 1986 and continued on to obtain a college degree.
She worked for Inspira Medical Center of Vineland as a Nuclear Medical Technician for many years and finished her career there in Tumor Registry.
Sandi is predeceased by her parents Norman and Martha Davis Torkelsen.
Surviving are her loving husband Donald F. Cicchino and son Nicholas as well as her brother Norman Torkelsen, and Aunt Evelyn Mauger.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and her dog Daisy.
Sandi could light up a room with her infectious smile. Her personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. She was a devoted member of Victory Bible Church. She served in different ministries such as passion play, the living nativity, coffee ministry, and many more.
Sandi enjoyed her time walking, riding her bike, camping with church friends, and being a social butterfly anywhere she went. She enjoyed friendly competitions with games and activities, as well as baking her famous chocolate covered treats.
Sandi battled her cancer bravely. It never took away her smile. She never strayed from her faith. In Romans 8:18, it states, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday October 5, 2024, from 9:30-11:00am at the Victory Bible Church 816 S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery 317 Henry Street Blue Anchor, NJ.
