Philomena "Dolly" Johnson (nee Urgo), 92 of Hamden, CT, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her residence with her daughter at her side, who she adored greatly.

She was born in Hazelton, PA and raised in Hammonton, NJ, amongst her many aunts, uncles, and cousins who she adored. Dolly loved to read, garden, watch the news, and discuss politics with her son in law Michael.

Dolly is predeceased by her parents, Joesph and Mary (nee Petruzzi) Urgo. She is survived by her daughter Gail D'Addio and her husband Michael, and brother Thomas Urgo and his wife Elizabeth, nephews Thomas Urgo (Barbara), Steven Urgo (Giovana), great nephews Luke and Max Urgo, and also many cousins.

Funeral services and burial at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton, NJ were held on Friday, August 28, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolly's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
