With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary G. Quigley (nee Mirarchi), age 86, of Hammonton, NJ. She passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26th, 2026. She was born on Isca Suliona, Calabria, Italy, in 1939, She immigrated to the United States in 1954. She raised her family in Elm, NJ before moving to Hammonton.

She worked for the Elm Dress Factory as a seamstress for many years and later worked as a Home Health Companion for many families in the Hammonton area.

Mary is predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Elena Mirarchi, one brother Alberto Mirarchi and sister Santina DiMatteo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Leo J. Quigley, four daughters, Donna Lang, Ellen Quigley, Linda Bennett and Mary Grace D'Alessandro, her brother Marziale Mirarchi and sisters Gesa Mirarchi and Rosina Miriello.

She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Jared, Justin, Melissa, Bonnie, Gina, Zachary, Christina and David as well as 5 great grandchildren, Dominik, Kayden, Joseph, Julian and Devin.

She was a woman whose hands were always busy and whose heart was always full. She found joy in cooking for those she loved, and believed that every meal was better when shared, and could turn the simplest ingredients into something comforting and memorable. She will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, and the love she poured into everything she did. Her legacy lives on in the meals we cook, the gardens we tend, and the love she taught us to give freely.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation and mass on Wednesday, February 4th at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church, Third and French St., Hammonton, NJ 08037. The visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 am, and a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Rd., Hammonton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church, Third and French St., Hammonton, NJ 08037.
