Marie Zollo (nee Spera) age 83 of Hammonton, NJ passed away suddenly Tuesday July 28, 2026 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Washington Twp. NJ.

Marie was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1961.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for over 17 years and retired in 2004. In her younger years Marie enjoyed traveling to Upstate New York, Niagara Falls, Lake George, and Williamsburg, VA. Later in life Marie enjoyed taking little day trips with her family and friends. Marie loved to cook and especially enjoyed making Sunday gravy for her family.

Marie is predeceased by her parents Louis and Grace (Puleo) Spera, her brother Joseph Spera, and her beloved Cocker Spaniel Tito.

Marie is survived by her loving and devoted husband Joseph Zollo and her daughter Janelle. She will be sadly missed by her many close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday August 6, 2026 from 19:30am - 10:45am at the at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third & French Streets Hammonton, NJ.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
