Maria Paris (nee Cannuscio) age 86 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Sunday September 13, 2026 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ.

Maria was born in Sicily, Italy moved to Brooklyn and settled in Hammonton, NJ. She was a seamstress for William B. Clothing Co. and Ubia Sportswear both in Hammonton. She worked at Jo Jo's Pizza her family business alongside of her husband Pietro for many years before closing.

She enjoyed cooking, watching her favorite Soap Opera and making blankets for everyone's new born children.

She is predeceased by her husband Pietro, her parents Francisco and Maria, sisters, Vincenza, Lucia and Vita.

Maria is survived by her children, Giacomo "Jack" Parisi. Maria DiNunzio and her husband Allen,Frances Brabant and her husband Michael and her sister Frances Parisi. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Domenic, Michael, Theresa and Lukas and her Great Granddaughter Gabriella. Maria had many nieces and nephews and always enjoyed visiting with them and catching up on their lives and families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday September 17, 2026 from 6:30- 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:30am - 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 18, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third and French Street Hammonton, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Harding Hwy Mays Landing, NJ
