Margaret A. Ingemi

Margaret A. "Peg" Ingemi age 84, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025, at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Peg was born and raised in Hammonton, NJ and lived in Folsom (Penny Pot). She graduated from HHS, Class of 58 and Glassboro State College, Class of 62 and taught in the Hammonton schools for over 45 years. Peg returned to GSC to become a certified School Social Worker. She then provided Mediation for the Atlantic County Court System, tutoring at the Atlantic County Jail (most rewarding), Literacy Volunteer, Peer Visitor for Amputee Coalition and MADD.

Peg also owned and operated along with her family, Pine Crest Motel and Restaurant in Folsom. She served on the Folsom Board of Education for 21 years, 9 as President.

She is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Vera Porter and her son JR Ingemi.

Peg is survived by her former spouse and dear companion, Joseph D Ingemi, her children Michael A. Ingemi and Robert (Gonzo) Ingemi (Deana), and her sister Virginia Curliss (Greg). Loving grandmother to Kaya, Hailey, Joseph, and Reed. And her nephew, John Curliss (Jess) and her faithful cat, Oreo. Per Peg's wishes services are private.

Peg lived fearlessly-If there ever's an example and the ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds, she was it!
