Obituary

Leo Joseph Leo, age 69 of Buena Vista Twp. NJ and formerly of Audubon, NJ passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully Sunday August 16, 2026 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Washington Twp. NJ.

He was born in Camden, NJ, raised in Mt. Ephraim Nj, and moved to Buena Vista Twp in 2007, not long after his daughter and son in-law moved there in 2005. He remained an area resident for the last 20 years.

He was a recently retired, highly skilled and decorated big rig truck driver for National DCP in west Hampton, NJ, where he worked for 31 years.

Leo was a fanatical motorcycle enthusiast. Motorcycles where his absolute passion. He loved to ride and he loved to build and work on them. His life revolved around motorcycles since he was a very young man. On any given day, you could find him riding with his closest and best buddy George Hultz, aka " other brother Daryl," his son in law Nick, and his daughter Jen, along with many other riding brothers from over the years. Wherever he road and whoever he road with, he was the "Road Captain" because he knew every road along any and every journey.

To say Leo adored and cherished his family, is an understatement! His 2 grandkids were his world and his daughter was his anchor and his "ray of sunshine." Leo never missed an event for either of his 2 grandkids. If you pulled down Jen and Nick's driveway on any random day, you could find Leo there because he just wanted to be with his family ALL THE TIME! For any family event, which were always at Jen and Nick's house, he was the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Leo is predeceased by his wife Kathy Leo (nee Boyer), his son Jeffrey J. Leo, his brothers Sam Leo and Joseph Fanelli along with his parents Sam and Santa Leo.

Leo is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer Panaro and her husband Nick, his 2 cherished grandchildren, Nicky and Lexi, his beloved step son Steven Boyer and his wife Jennifer, his sister Santa Russo, along with his loving nieces and nephews.

Leo's wishes are to be cremated and a life celebration is to be announced.
