On November 28, 2025 James I. Palmer passed away at his home.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ivin J. Palmer and Ethel E. (Rubart) Palmer, his sister Ethel Joan Maccarone and his niece Cyndi (Maccarone) Reinhard and her husband Ted Reinhard. He is survived by his niece, Kathy (Maccarone) Sartorio (Robert), his nephew Michael Maccarone (Christine) his great nieces and great great nephews.

James had a passion for exotic cars, old western movies and music from the big band era. He loved to read and had a large collection of books. He loved cats and riding horses and also enjoyed fine wine and good cigars. RIP Unk.
