James Eagen age 71 of Egg Harbor City, NJ passed away peacefully Thursday February 12, 2026. James was born and raised in Edison, NJ and relocated to Egg Harbor City in 1982.

Over his professional career he worked for over 40 years as a Surveillance Camera man for Trump Castle, Trump Marina and retired from the Golden Nugget in 2022.

His love was his family and his passion being lifelong member and Volunteer Fireman for Elwood Vol. Fire Co. Station #160.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Linda Jean Eagen and his parents James and Jane Eagen.

He is survived by his two daughters Courtney Eagen and her Husband Jason Vargas and Nicole Lagnese and her Husband Nikolas, sister Patty Lambert (Vincent) and the love of his life his grandchildren Mason Vargas and Colleen Lagnese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday February 18, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ.
