Obituary

Frederick C. Frank, age 81, of Hammonton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ.

Fred was born and raised in Linden, NJ, and relocated to Hammonton in 1984, where he made his home and became a well-known and beloved member of the community.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Turkey during the Vietnam War. Fred was also a member of the Hammonton American Legion, Frank M. Calletta Post #186.

Fred was predeceased by his loving wife, Beverly Springsted Frank; his parents, Oscar and Helen Frank; his brothers, Thomas Frank, William Frank, John Frank, and Charles Frank; and his sister, Dolores Bowers.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Frank, David Frank, Christian Annese (Ameetha), Helena Frank (David Ward), and Michelle Baker (David); his sister, Diane Barker; his cherished friend, Filomena Bocella; and his beloved grandson, Wyatt Ward.

In 2000, Fred opened Frederick C. Frank and Associates, where he proudly worked alongside his children Christopher, David, and Helena, building not only a successful business but a lasting legacy for his family. One of Fred's greatest joys was spending time with his clients, often entertaining them with stories of his favorite pastimes, which included attending country concerts, meeting Dolly Parton, fishing, and jumping in the truck for an impromptu drive to Maine for lobster.

Fred was also a beloved soccer coach for the Hammonton Invaders, where he considered many of his players to be family. He taught not only the game of soccer, but also the values of kindness, confidence, and respect.

Fred was truly a unique soul who touched everyone he met. His adventurous spirit inspired many, but perhaps his most memorable quality was the genuine kindness he showed to every person he encountered.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church, Third and French Streets, Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 South First Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037).
