Franklin "Frank" Delano Lisa, age 89 of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Medford Lakes, NJ where he lived for many years, passed away suddenly Monday December 1, 2025, at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He is predeceased by his wife Frances S. Lisa (nee Sindoni), parents, Joseph and Angelina Lisa (nee Rapa), two brothers Joseph Lisa, Jr., Robert Lisa and one sister Joyce Iuliano.
He graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1954. He met the love of his life in high school, and they were married for 63 years. He played the saxophone in his father's band, The Stardusters. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He owned and operated Vincent & Joseph Beauty Salon in Collingswood, NJ from the mid-1960s to 2018.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Toni-Jean Friedman and her husband Kevin, and Chrissy Duman and her husband Scott. Frank will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Matthew Duman, Megan Schroeder and her husband Eric, and Nathalie and Pyper Friedman, and grand dogs, Bert and Stella.
Frank was devoted to his beloved wife and family. Whether tinkering in the yard or in the house, there were always projects in the works. He and Fran welcomed all and had infamous Christmas Eve celebrations that lasted well into the night. Invites were extended to everyone at their beach house where they enjoyed many summer nights on the back deck eating, laughing and drinking various after-dinner digestifs. Frank Sinatra played on the sound system without fail. Frank and Fran were rarely apart and truly functioned as one unit. They had a true love story and looked out for each other in the most beautiful way.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 a.m., December 5, 2025, at Christ the Redeemer Parish - Assumption Church, 315 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ 08004.
