Donald J. Ambrose age 84 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Center in Cherry Hill, NJ on Monday August 31, 2026.

Donald was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1962.

He proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969. From 1959 to his retirement in 1999, Donald was employed by A&P/ Super Fresh Foods with over 40 years of service to the company. He held the position of Vice President of UFCW Local 1358. He was a man of strong faith and one who donated to many charities and organizations.

He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Emma (nee Izzi) and his brother Paul. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, friends and the Santiago family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 8 2026 at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church, corner of French and Third Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S. First Road Hammonton, NJ.
