Mrs. Concetta Maione, age 89, passed away on April 27, 2026. She was born on April 15, 1937 in Arienzo, Italy in the Campania Region.
She was preceded in death by Nicola Piscitelli (Father), Emilia Piscitelli (Mother) and her sisters, Ida Maione and Assunta Khairy.
Concetta, and her husband, Silvio emigrated from Italy to the United States in 1964. She resided in Hammonton, NJ for the rest of her life.
Concetta was a proud wife, mom and grandmom. She lived to take care of her family and especially to make every meal for them. She loved to cook Italian meals and desserts. She first learned to cook after marriage and then became the avid cook and baker that everyone loved. She also enjoyed watching Italian programming, the Food Network, reality television as well as shopping. Her greatest love, however, was her family and she cherished the time she spent with each of her grandchildren.
Concetta was a kind, graceful and loving person. She was also very generous and worked tirelessly throughout her life. She began working at William B. Kessler Clothier in Hammonton, NJ in 1968 until its closing in 1981 and then she began working at Whitehall Labs in Hammonton, NJ until its closing in 1994. We are now able to flourish and thrive because of her unconditional love and her daily gifts of perseverance, tolerance and benevolence. We are forever grateful.
