Concetta Lagnese (nee Cipro) age 94 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side.
Concetta was born and raised in Italy and emigrated to Hammonton in 1958. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers of America and worked for various clothing business including Aggressive Coat Factory, Modern Clothing Factory, Anna Bertino, and Ubia Sportwear where she retired from in 1992. Concetta loved to cook and tend to her garden. In the 1990's her care for her garden and house got her the title of "the most beautiful house on the block".
She is predeceased by her husband Nicola Lagnese, parents Nicola and Della Fave (nee Fiorentina) Cipro, and her brother Antonio "Tony", Rema, and Romolo Cipro.
Concetta is survived by her daughters Angelina Lagnese (Joshua Brehm), Anna Marie Stocker (Raymond), and Cindy Lou Sastre. She is the loving grandmother to Jennifer Monaco (Michael), Nikolas Jon Lagnese (Nicole Lynn), Tyler Sastre. and Jason Sastre, and great grandmother to Mason and Parker Monaco, and Colleen Isabella Lagnese.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 9:00-10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church, corner of Third and French St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 248 S First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
