Andrew J. Julia, Jr., age 74 of Winslow Twp., NJ passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Andy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Collings Lakes, NJ and later settling in Winslow Twp. for the last 21 years. He was a member of the Mummer’s fancy brigade, The Downtowners, and a 4th degree Deputy Grand Knight of the North American Martyrs Council 8718 out of Collings Lakes, NJ. Andy was very active in fundraising for the Deborah Heart & Lung Center. He previously drove for Yale Transportation and worked for the Phillies before retiring a short time ago.
He is predeceased by his loving parents Andrew J. Sr. and Helen (nee Diamond) Julia, and his brothers Jim and Ray Julia.
Andy is survived by his loving wife Georg-Ann (nee Tritschler), his children Andrew J. Julia III and his wife Stacey, Michael Julia and his wife Tina, GiGi Rao and her husband Anthony, and Brian Julia and his wife Jeannette, brother Robert Julia and his wife Loretta and his sister Helen and her husband Michael, loving Sister-in-law Debbie Julia (Jim Julia), and his Aunt, Carol Diamond (Uncle Tom Diamond) , His Mother-in-law, JoMarie Tritschler(George Sr.), Brother-in-law, George Tritschler, special sister-in-law, Lori, sister-in-law, Jo Anastasi (Sam). Loving grandfather of 23 grandchildren, and Great-grandfather of 10 great-grandchildren, beloved fur children, Matthew and Jameson.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday, January 24th, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Lakes Church 19 Malaga Rd, Collings Lakes, NJ 08094.
Those attending are invited to wear their favorite Eagles, Phillies, or Downtowners apparel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
