William Russell 'Pete' Gilbert, Iii

William R. "Pete" Gilbert III, age 62 of Folsom, NJ passed away January 6, 2022.
He was born in Vineland, NJ and lived most of his life in Elwood. Pete graduated from Oakcrest High School, where he studied to be a diesel mechanic at their Vo-Tech program.
Pete is predeceased by his parents William and Mary (nee Emory) Gilbert, brothers Bob and Wade Gilbert, Joe Doerr, and sisters Ruth Sanchez, and Mary "Pinky" Josias.
Pete is survived by his wife Michele (nee Olesky), daughters Sabrina Petkevis (Rich), and Holly Gilbert, brothers John, Roger (Patty), and Bill Gilbert, sisters Gail Vaughn, Diane Lebednikas (Tom), Sue Mastrario (Mike), and sister in law Linda Laun. Loving grandfather to Isabella and Gabriella Petkevis, and also many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Pete's life will be held on Friday January 14th, 2022 from 10am - 11am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
In lieu of flowers any donations may be made in memory of Pete to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry Third and French St. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
