William C. Cannon

William C. "Billy" Cannon 72, of Hammonton, passed away June 30, 2011 at AtlanticCare in Pomona. Born in Concord Alabama, Billy was a Hammonton resident since 1960. He retired as a truck driver for Yellow Freight. He drove over the road for Hess Trucking and was a manager at San Georgio Trucking and also drove for DuPont Trucking. He was a former manager for Hammonton Arms Apartments. Billy was an avid coin and civil war memorabilia collector. Billy is predeceased by his parents Charles and Frances Cannon and his sister Venita Reddick. Billy is survived by his wife Carmella (nee Juliano), his daughters Angela (Don) Conte of Elkton, MD., Wendy (Ricky) Domenico of Elwood, Christina (Tom) Quinlan of Buena Vista Twp., and Renee (Len) Garbero of Hammonton. Dear brother of Carl (Doretta) Cannon of Columbus NJ, Johnny (Sherrie) Cannon of Carrollton,Texas, Paul (Linda) Cannon, Ronnie (Ann) Cannon and Muriel Haley all of Bessemer, Alabama. Loving grandfather of Donny Michelle and Kathryn Conte, Nicholas and Sarah Domenico,Thomas,Matthew and Meghan Quinlan and Lenny and Nicolette Garbero. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Weds. 9:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton.
