William A. Pinto, Jr.

William A. Pinto, Jr., "Bill" age 93, formerly of Hammonton, NJ, passed away Monday June 26, 2017. Born and raised in Hammonton, NJ, he graduated from Hammonton High School in 1942. He worked for White Hall Laboratory in Hammonton for 25 years, and retired in 1987. Predeceased by two wives, Veronica ( nee Pontuto ) and Elizabeth ( nee LoSasso ), Parents William Sr. and Assunta, and his sister Christine Crescenzo. Surviving are his daughters, Susan Chalk and her husband Peter of Hammonton, NJ and Freda Chew and her husband Bill of Swedesboro, NJ. Dear Brother of James, Joseph and Anthony Pinto, Marie Zerillo, Josephine Chalk, Katherine Geroni, Anna Mae Rutzel and Marian Valentino. Loving Grandfather of Peter William Chalk. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As well as his longtime friend and caregiver, Wendy Scarpinato. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Stephen Nurkiewicz for the years of excellent care and support that he provided to Bill and family. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. No morning viewing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 10:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S.
