Sebastian J. 'Bill' Scordo

Sebastian J. "William" Scordo, age 79 of Winslow Twp. passed away Nov. 8, 2010 at Virtua Hospital in Berlin, NJ. Born in Winslow, he was a lifelong resident. Bill was a graduate of St. Joseph High School class of 1949. In 1936 his father started Scordo's Body Shop in Hammonton. He began working with his father in 1949 and became the owner in 1971.Bill retired from the business in 1996. He was a member of the Army Reserves and The Sons of Italy of Hammonton. Bill loved fishing and his boats. Bill is predeceased by his son William L., his wife Phyllis (nee Morganweck)his parents Stanley and Katherine (nee Buckley) and his sister Helen Christopher. Surviving are his son Carmen and his companion Mark Kasilowski of Hammonton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 10:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held 11:00am at the Funeral Home.
