Santo " Sam" age 88 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Tuesday March 18, 2014 at his home. Born and raised in Hammonton, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and drove the Landing Craft during the Normandy invasion. Sam was a Teamsters Truck Driver out of Phila. PA and later retired as a mechanic for D.J. Plumbing in Hammonton, NJ. Predeceased by his wife Margaret ( nee Grossi ) and parents Michael and Rafaela. Devoted father of Michael and his wife Kathy of Richmond, VA, Sam and his wife Hannah of New Hope, PA, and LeeAnn Einwechter of Hammonton, NJ. Loving grandfather of 9 and 4 Great Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:30am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
