Rose K. Chappine (nee Ingemi) age 96 of Hammonton, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Rose was born and raised in Hammonton.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Felici "Lee" Chappine, her parents Joseph and Anna Ingemi, sister Pauline Rodio and brothers, Matthew, Frank, Dominic, Joe and John Ingemi. Surviving are her loving children, Lee (Sopiko) Chappine, Frank (Lorrie) Chappine, Joseph (Sandra) Chappine, Thomas (Patty) Chappine and Roseann (Stephen) Struble, two sisters Jeanette Hughes and Ann DiFilippo, two sister-in-laws Marie Ingemi and Beatrice Ingemi, three brother-in laws Frank Chiappine (Ada), Tip DiDonato, and John Calderone (Sharon). Loving grandmother of 16, Great Grandmother of 10, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was a seamstress at Kessler Clothing Factory until her marriage in 1947. She was a wonderful homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Her specialties were gnocchi and biscotti. She also loved watching her children and grandchildren playing sports. She never missed a game from Little League all the way through high school. Rose will be dearly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 9:00 to 11:15 am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish-St Joseph Church 3rd & French Sts. Hammonton. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton.
