Robert J. Riley, Sr.
May 9, 1937 — June 1, 2022
He was born in Phila. Pa and resided in Pleasant Mills and Hammonton, NJ for most of his life.
Bob retired from the Hess Trucking Company in Hammonton, NJ as a Truck Driver and also worked as the maintenance man for the Hammonton Presbyterian Church for over 11 years.
Over the years he was a Volunteer Fire Fighter as a member of the Elm, Elwood and Nesco Fire Companies.
Bob is survived by the mother of his children Janice (nee Wood), his children, Robert J. Riley, Jr. (Marie) of Levittown, PA, Joseph Riley (Hope) of Nesco, NJ, John Riley of Gulf Breeze, FL, Patrick Riley of Hammonton, NJ, Kathryn Baker (Christopher) of Hammonton, NJ, Arlene Carugno of Hammonton, NJ and Jacqueline Pena (Rafael) of Cleveland, OH and his partner Tracey Dwinell of Hammonton, NJ. He is the loving grandfather of 18 as well as 13 Great Grandchildren.
Per Bob’s request Cremation will be held privately.
Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund P.O. Drawer 498 Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
