Rita C. ( nee Prestopino ) age 92 formerly of Hammonton, NJ passed away Wednesday February 27, 2016 at the Fountains in Atco, NJ. Born and raised in Hammonton, NJ she graduated from Hammonton High School in 1941. She was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Martin de Porres Church. Predeceased by her husband Frank ,parents Phillip and Agnes Prestopino, brother Fred Prestopino and sister Sarah Tassone. Loving auntie of Kathleen Cook (Adrian), Freda Raffa (Robert), Eva Prestopino, Rita Darby (Joseph), Anthony Tassone (Maryland), Donna Bonow (Larry), Nancy Myers (Bill) and Jenny Forrest (Chris). Rita is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday from 9:30am - 10:45am St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass 11:00am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
