Philomena 'Mae' Vacarella

PHILOMENA "MAE" VACARELLA, (nee ROMANO) 91 - of Hammonton, formerly of Egg Harbor City, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at home. She was born on July 29, 1918 in Camden, NJ to Felice and Pasqualena Romano.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, with whom she owned and operated Vacarella's Market in Egg Harbor City and the 48th Street Market in Ocean City.
She was also predeceased by her brothers Carmen, Tony and Bert and her sister Sue Giletto.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jean Canavan and her son-in-law Bob, and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Joseph's Church, Third & French Streets in Hammonton at 9:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
