Philip F Demarco

Philip F. DeMarco, age 87 of Hammonton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Evesham Twp, NJ.

Philip was born and raised in Hammonton where he graduated from Hammonton High School in 1954. Philip had an entrepreneurial spirit and in 1961 he started DeMarco Turf Irrigation providing services to many of the prestigious golf courses in the NJ and NY area. In 1976 he started Aqua-Flo, a wholesale irrigation distributorship, and continued to provide excellent service to golf courses and won numerous awards including - Buckner, Ag-Rain, Valley distributor of the year awards multiple times, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Irrigation Association of New Jersey.

He enjoyed adventurous vacations across many countries and always made new long term friends on his trips. He loved country music and attending live shows whenever possible. He was meticulous about his yard and always made sure the landscaping was perfect. Philip always enjoyed having a great meal with family and sharing laughs and stories from the past.

He is predeceased by his parents Emedio and Julia DeMarco, his brothers Rocco, Medio, Anthony “Buck”, and Louis DeMarco, and his sisters, Carmella Graves, Rose Arico, Helen Esham, Diana Hanselmann, and Gloria Soards.

Philip is survived by his loving wife Josephine (nee Lisa) of 64 yrs and his children Jennifer DeMarco (Rich Rolke) and Michael DeMarco (Jennifer Haahs), his grandchildren Jessica and Lindsey Rolke, sister Amelia Todaro, sister in law Sue DeMarco and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday October 30, 2023 from 9:30am – 11:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Entombment will be at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
