Paul H. Pino

Paul H. Pino, 90, of Hammonton and Largo, Fla., and formerly of Ocean City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at his daughter's home in Warrington, Pa.
Born in Hammonton, he attended Hammonton Public Schools. He worked for Crown Pants for more than 40 years before retiring as a foreman in 1983. After his retirement, he was a foreman for D.J. Statewide Plumbing in Hammonton.
An avid gardener, he was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of VFW Post 1026 in Hammonton.
He was predeceased by his parents, Santo Pino and Anna Curreri from Palermo, Sicily, and his wife Mamie Eleanor Testa to whom he was married for 42 years.
Surviving are his daughters, Carol LaSassa and her husband Dennis, Sr. of Hammonton, and Paula Jenis and her husband Frank of Warrington, Pa. He was the loving grandfather of Dennis LaSassa, Jr. (Donna), Paul LaSassa (Shana Sentel) of Hammonton, and Frank and Gianna Jenis of Warrington, Pa.
He was the great grandfather of Paul, Dennis III, David, Jenna and Danielle LaSassa; the brother-in-law of Mildred Pino of Hammonton, and the faithful companion to Elizabeth Pepe of Ocean City for 17 years.
There will be a viewing Thursday evening 7-9pm at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. 3rd St. in Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 3rd and French streets in Hammonton. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
