Nicholas F. Barbagallo, Sr. age 92 of Hammonton, NJ died Saturday August 17, 2013.
Born in Elm, Nick was a lifelong Hammonton resident. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was Sgt of Arms of Edwards and Accarito American Legion post #398 of Elm, NJ. Nick was a self employed oil burner repairman. Predeceased by his wife Mary ( nee Giordano ) and parents Salvatore and Vincenza. Surviving are his children, Nicholas F. Barbagallo. Jr and his wife Lucia of Waterford, NJ, Samuel M. Barbagallo and his wife Audrey, and Virginia Merrifield all of Elkins, WV. 1 Brother, Phillip Barbagallo of Hammonton, NJ. Loving grandfather of Darnel DePalma, Brian Merrifield, Sammy Barbagallo, and Rachel Mangano. 3 Great Grandchildren, James Gorman III, Robert Gorman, and Regina Mangano. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday from 9am-11am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. Services will be held 11am at the Funeral Home.
