Mildred B. Falciani

Mildred B. Falciani (nee Brita) age 96 formally of Hammonton and lately of Willow Spring, NC passed away Friday November 22, 2013. Mildred was born in Cranston, RI. She was graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. Professionally, Mildred taught at Hammonton High School and Oakcrest High School and also served as class advisor, play director and advisor to the National Honor Society during many of those years. Her avocation was volunteer work. As a volunteer of the Boca Raton, Florida Police Dept., she was honored by the Chief of Police and Mayor as the longest serving volunteer in Boca Raton. While there, she also was active at a senior citizen center as a volunteer for the "VIPs" (Visually Impaired People). In Hammonton, Millie was a volunteer and member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital. She was the recipient of the Lions Club Women of the Year award along with Toppy Ricci.
Millie was past president of NJ Society of Professional Engineers Auxiliary and past president of the Women's Civic Club of Hammonton. Her passion for golf inspired her and her late husband Romeo to serve as president of Buena Vista Country Club Twilight Golfers. Mildred is predeceased by her husband Romeo Falciani and her parents Michael and Rose Brita. Surviving are her son Ronald B. Falciani and his wife MaryAnn of Raleigh, NC and her granddaughter Melissa Del Broccolo and her husband Joseph of Middletown, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday 9:00am-10:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am
at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph Church Third & French Sts. Hammonton, NJ. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family.
