Michele Dains

Michele Dains (nee Coleman) age 63 of Franklinville, NJ passed away Sunday August 27, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she grew up in Woodbury Heights and attended Gateway High School.

Michele had a passion for horses. Her dream was to have a horse farm since she was a little girl. She was lucky to achieve that for the last 15 years. Michele made many like-minded friends over the years who also enjoyed being around horses. She was always there to help a friend in need and many times opened her home to those who needed it. Michele worked in assisting living homes for many years. She loved being there for her residents. Michele always took care of them during the holidays. She loved her husband Wayne who passed away a long time ago. She loved her mother, she was her best friend. Now she can rest with her loved ones.

Michele is predeceased by her parents Kye and Betty Coleman (nee Kincaid), her husband Wayne Short and her sister Karen Henry.

Surviving is her son Hugh McIntyre and his wife Nicole Kennedy McIntyre, daughter Katherine Michele Short and her brother Michael Coleman and his wife Cindy. She will be sadly missed by her grandson Jesse McIntyre as well as her niece, nephew and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday September 14, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am, with funeral services at 11:00am and a luncheon to follow the services all at the Maranatha Baptist Church 1524 Bridgeton Millville Pike Millville, NJ 08332.

Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
