Mary "Pat" Pinto

Mary “Pat” Pinto (nee Gribble), age 80, of Hammonton, NJ, passed away peacefully at

home on October 31, 2023.

Pat was born in Carbondale, PA and graduated from Saint Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse for over 45 years, working at Kessler Hospital in Hammonton and finishing her career as an Operating Room Nurse at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, traveled often, and enjoyed going to lunch and the movies with her girlfriends. She loved to bake for others, and was known for her beautiful cookie trays and delicious rice pudding. Pat spent countless hours in her craft room creating memorable scrapbooks and hand-made cards to send to family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Peggy Gribble, brother Joseph Gribble, and brothers and sisters-in-law Mena and Louis Cullen, Louis Pinto, Rosemarie DeMaria, and Daniel Pinto.

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph S. Pinto, daughter Karen Perna (Michael), brother James Gribble (Beth), sister-in-law Dee Pinto, brother-in-law Matthew Pinto (Mary Jane), and brother-in-law Richard DeMaria. Pat is the loving grandmother of Julia and Michael Perna and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her cousin Mary Ellen, who was like a sister to her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00-10:45 am at Marinella Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Church, 285 Rt. 206, Hammonton, NJ 08037. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S First Rd., Hammonton, NJ 08037.
