Mary L. Monzo

Mary L. Monzo (nee Mauriello) age 94 of Waterford Works, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday January 29, 2022 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born and raised in Waterford, NJ. In her early years she worked in the clothing industry and once her children grew she returned to work at the Winslow Twp. Board of Education and retired in 1989 from the Lower Camden Co. Board of Education as a Hall Monitor.

She was a member of the Waterford Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and was very active at St. Anthony Church in Waterford. Her family meant the world to her cooking Sunday dinner, making homemade wine, crocheting, cleaning her home and just being in charge.

She is predeceased by her husband, William “Rogie” Monzo, parents Angelina (nee Iuliucci) and Lorenzo Mauriello and her siblings, Robert Mauriello (Annie),Jennie Lombo (Tony), Fred Mauriello (Anna), Ida Esposito (Joseph), Charles Mauriello (Rita) and Joseph Mauriello (Rosemary) and in laws, Joseph Monzo (Martha) and William and Rose (DiAngelilio) Monzo.

Mary is survived by her children, Rosemarie Andress and her husband Gilbert of Atco, NJ, Bonnie Fiorentino and her husband Andy of Seaville, NJ and Bill and his wife Donna of Waterford, NJ and her sister in law Rita Alvino of Malaga, NJ.

She is the loving grandmother of Anthony Fiorentino (Isabella), Daniel Fiorentino (Ashley), Andrew Fiorentino (Erika), Dominic Fiorentino, Natalie Andress, Brianna and Mary Lynn Monzo. Great grandmother of AJ, Namiah, Anthony Michael, Ella Rose and Grace Kristine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday from 7:00pm- 9:00pm and Friday from 9:30 – 10:30am all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00am at Christ the Redeemer Parish St. Anthony Church 436 Pennington Ave. Waterford, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery 119 N. Rt.73 Cedar Brook, NJ.
