PERRONE,
Marlene J. ( nee Bossi ) 74, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 26, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was a part time resident of both Hammonton, NJ and Millinocket, Maine. A graduate of Vineland High School, class of 1960, Marlene then attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and Glassboro State College, graduating in 1965 with a degree in Social Work. She dedicated her life to helping children and families, working for the Division of Youth and Family Services for 32 years, retiring in 1998. Beloved wife for 49 years to Michael F. Loving mother of Michele DiBona and her husband Mike of Millinocket, ME, Marla Kettinger and husband Greg of Philadelphia, PA, Micki Gonzalez and husband Sam of Mason, OH and Monica Newton and husband James R. Devoted mom-mom to Michael and Mark DiBona, Gianna and Sammy Gonzalez and Leah, Lily, and Ben Newton. She is also survived by her sister Kathleen Poole and her husband Al and sister-in-law Marlene Bossi, as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Marlene is predeceased by her parents Paul Peter and Frances Helen Bossi and her brother Paul Dennis Bossi. Marlene enjoyed the simple things in life; reading, doing puzzles, working in her gardens, and a good "rusty nail". Some of her fondest memories include her trip to Sicily with her daughter & son-in-law, Marla and Greg, her trip to Europe with her brother and sister, enjoying her lake house in Maine, celebrating traditions with her family, traveling with her husband Mike, and cheering on her seven adored grandchildren at their games, meets, performances, and plays.
