Madeline Carol Snyder

Snyder, Madeline C. (nee Murphy) 72 of Elwood, Mullica Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center City Division surrounded by her family. Maddy was born and raised in Elwood, NJ where she was a life long resident. She attended Elwood Elementary School and Hammonton High School in Hammonton, NJ. Maddy met the love of her life and soul mate, Clyde Richard (Dick) Snyder, Jr. at the tender age of 11 years old. It was love at first sight. They married and raised one daughter, Donna Sansom (Ron) who was the apple of her eye. Maddy's life was her family and looked forward to cooking and celebrating holidays and birthdays with her loved ones, who were the center of her world. She was at her happiest surrounded by those whom she loved and had the best times and shared many laughs with her adoring crazy family. Maddy was pre-deceased by her mother, Lillian Murphy, her father, Alfred Murphy, her brothers, Howard (Sonny) and Rodney Murphy. She is survived by her loving husband, Dick Snyder, daughter, Donna Sansom (Ron), grandson Ryan Sansom (Louise Friel), who she cherished with all of her heart, and her great grandson, Logan John Sansom who brought her such joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Hagelin (Lenny), Lorraine Tice, a brother Alfred Murphy. Sister-in-law Jessica Sullivan (Phil), who was just like a sister to her and Phyllis Grams (Auggie). Brother-in-laws Dennis Snyder (David) and Rodney Snyder (Nancy). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Atlantic Care Regional Med. Ctr. City Division ICU who had taken such good care of our beloved Maddy. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at the Victory Bible Church 816 S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ with services beginning at 3:00 PM.
