Josephine E. 'Josie' Celona

Josephine E. (Macrie) Celona age 73, passed away on June 21, 2012 peacefully surrounded by her family after battling a prolonged illness. Josie was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, NJ, and a graduate Hammonton High School. She worked in the banking industry for many years and later held a part-time position at Kessler Hospital billing office. Josie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She enjoyed a life well lived and her greatest joys came from spending time with those she loved the most. Josie will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always in our hearts. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Josephine Macrie and Sisters Jane Rodio and Dolores Dandrea. She is survived by her adoring husband of 54 years Paul Celona, beloved daughter Sandra Salvati ( Robert ). Loving granddaughters Alyssa and Allison Salvati and sisters Frances Catrambone and Lena Communale. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Sunday Eve 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S.
