Josephine A. Oropallo

Josephine A. Oropallo ( nee Mortillite ) age 86 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Saturday July 6, 2013 at her residence. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and retired as Machine Operator for several clothing companies in the area. Josephine loved going to the casino's, playing bingo, cooking for her family but her true love was her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband James S. Oropallo, Sr., her son James S. Oropallo, Jr.,
parents Paul and Carmella Mortillite and brothers Frank, Dominic and Samuel Mortillite. Surviving are her children Paul Oropallo and his wife Renee of Hammonton, NJ., and Anthony Oropallo of Pleasantville,NJ. Her sister Theresa Galletta of Hammonton, NJ. Loving grandmother of Kristle Christo ( Jeffrey ), Stacy and Lauren Oropallo, Joelle Campanella - Lockhart and Jason O'Loughlin. Great grandmother of 5 and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Wednesday 8:30 am - 9:30 am at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. 3rd Street, Hammonton, N.J. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph's Church, 3rd and French Streets, Hammonton, N.J. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ.
