Joseph Jr. age 74of Shamong Twp.NJ and formerly of Hammonton, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 21, 2016. Joseph was a former Waterford Twp. Police Officer, where he achieved the rank of Captain. He served as a member of the Atco Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company. Joseph lived in Wyoming for several years where he enjoyed camping, the mountains and the great outdoors. Joseph retired as a manager for Mobil Oil Corporation. His true joy in life was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marie Shuhart and brother, Norman. Surviving are his wife Nancy L Shuhart ( nee Erhke ). His children, Dennis Shuhart ( Charlene ) of Maple Shade, NJ, Michael Shuhart ( Jane ) of Marlton Lakes, NJ, Joseph Shuhart ( Lisa ) of Buena, NJ and Nicole Ruberton ( Michael ) of Hammonton, NJ. Dear brother of David Shuhart of Florida, Gary Shuhart of Berlin, NJ, Barbara of Marlton,NJ, Marie Smith of California, Terri Maas of Moorestown, NJ, Elizabeth Read of Collings Lakes and Donna Freeman of Williamstown, NJ. Loving grandfather of RJ, Lyndsay, Abigail and Zachary Shuhart, Savannah and Sailor Asencio.. Great grandfather of 5. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wed. 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Marinella Funeral Home 102 N.Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Service will begin at 8:00pm at the funeral home.
