John F. Zacchi

John F. Zacchi, Sr. 82 of Hammonton passed away November 19, 2009 at Cape Regional Hospital in Cape May Court House. Born in Manhattan, NY, he lived in Hammonton for many years before moving to Cape May. John owned and operated Zacchi Car Care in Hammonton for many years. He also worked for Boeing Helicopter in Ardmore Pa. and retired from Harrah's Hotel & Casino, where he was employee of the year in 1986. John was a member of Assumption Society in Hammonton and enjoyed cooking and car care. John who was one of 20 children. He is predeceased by his parents Vito and Marie Zacchi and daughter Annie Spratt. Surviving are his son John F. Zacchi Jr. and his wife Danielle of Brigantine and his daughter Debbie Zacchi-Krause and her husband Dave of Gulf Port Fla. Loving grandfather of Stephen Zacchi (Nicole) and Storm Patrick Zacchi. His companion Eleanor DoBrindt and dear friends Carol Fabi and Janet Fisher. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening 5:00-8:00pm with services at 8:00pm at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial will be private.
