John A. Demarco

John A. DeMarco, Sr. , 78, of Nesco, passed away suddenly on Sunday January 8, 2012. John was born in Hammonton and was a resident his entire life. He was a 1952 graduate of Hammonton High School. John was the president and owner of Sun Valley Farms for over 50 years and the owner of Farmer John's Food Market for over 25 years. John loved time with his family, farming and being at his home. He also enjoyed driving his classic cars. John is predeceased by his brothers Philip, Rocco and Carmen and sisters Carmella Merlino and Rita Amedio. Surviving is his devoted wife of 57 years Anna (nee LaGuardia), his children John A. DeMarco Jr. (Maureen) of Nesco, Brenda Pinto (fiance Mike Brandley) of Hammonton, Carol Panichelle (Bob) and Annette Teodoro (Mike) all of Sewell. Brother to Anthony DeMarco,Rose Merlino, Gladys Tomasella and Stella Daniello all of Hammonton. Loving grandfather of Christina, Jennifer, Lauren, Danielle, Ryan, Eric, Michelle, Megan, Emily, John III and Riley and great-grandfather of Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 6:00pm- 9:00pm at St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am at the Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ Arrangements entrusted to the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
