Ivis Bernice Gardiner

Ivis Bernice Gardiner, (nee Pratt), age 95 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Ivis was born in Philadelphia and lived in Blue Anchor most of her life. She eventually moved in with her daughter Beverly in Hammonton. She graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School then married the love of her life, Everitt "Buster" Gardiner. While raising her family, Ivis worked several part time jobs , Nat Gas, Ideal , Winslow Township tax office and a school bus driver for Joe Gargano and, lastly Winslow Township School District.

Ivis is predeceased by her parents Pearl and John Pratt, her beloved husband Buster, her brothers Homer Pratt and Walter Pratt, and her nephew Walter Pratt Jr. Ivis is survived by her loving children Beverly (Joe) Celona, Stephen(Sue) Gardiner, and David (Kim) Gardiner. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Christopher(Dawn) Celona , Joseph (Sarah) Celona Jr., Lauren (Stevan) Austino, David ( LIsa) Gardiner, Ryan, (Lauren) Gardiner, Melissa Dillahey, Lindsey Dillahey, and Rhett Gardiner and her 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Ursula Pratt, her niece Karen Pratt and her nephew John (Dawn)Pratt.

Ivis's family was the center of her life. She was always there to lend a hand whenever needed. She was kind, light hearted and fun to be around. She was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed life especially watching her grandchildren grow up as well as all of their friends who came to know her as "Nan".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 9:30-11:00am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am, all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
