Elizabeth M Sottile (Bell) 86 of Hammonton, passed away on March 31, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pennsylvania she was an area resident most of her life. She worked for the Hammonton Post Office and was a former member of the Collings Lakes Rescue Squad. As a member of the Woman's Club of Our Lady of the Lakes Church she volunteered her time raising money for the parish with the annual chicken barbeque, Christmas bazaar and spaghetti dinner. She also helped prepare and serve dinner for the Bishop. She was an avid writer and edited and contributed poems in Freedom of Thought, a book of poems for Our Lady of the Lakes Mission Fund. Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Bell, husband Louis F. Sottile, her sons David and Daniel, her daughters Judith Huff and Annina Cutler and a granddaughter Kristine Graham and also her loving uncle Eugene Ruddle. Surviving are her children Lucrecia Codario and her husband Sam of Hammonton, Mark Sottile of Hammonton, Christopher Sottile of Williamstown and Maxwell Yanof of Bozeman, Montana. Loving grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 24 and great-great grandmother of 3. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tues. eve 7:00-9:00pm and Wed. morning 8:30-9:45am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton.
