Elberta A. ( nee Longo ) age 66 of Hammonton, NJ passed away Monday March 10, 2014 at Virtua Hopsital in Marlton, NJ. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident, and a graduate from Hammonton High School in 1965. She was a former member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, the Alter Rosary Society and taught Sunday School for over 30 years. Elberta was also a member of the Sunshine Foundation, the Blue Birds and volunteered at St. Joseph Church and was a former Candy Striper at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital. . She enjoyed being with her family, her dogs, pottery and drawing. Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Frances Longo. Beloved wife of Donald for over 44 years. Devoted mother of Donald, II and his wife Kimberly of Maple Shade, NJ, Jeffrey L. of Hammonton, NJ, Brent J. of Atco, NJ and Ryan N. of Hammonton, NJ. Dear sister of Lawrence Longo and Frances ( nee Longo ) DeSordi ( Frank ) all of Hammonton, NJ. Loving Grandmother of Sarina and Carissa. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Nicole, Lora, Stacy, Larry and Heagher. Family and Friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday Eve. 6:00pm - 9:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 10:30am at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
