Dorothy J. Barrett (nee Purul) 89 of Hammonton and formerly of Berlin, passed away Monday May 21, 2018 at her residence.
Dorothy enjoyed her time with her family & friends and was known for making the best potato salad and pound cake. She loved the Atlantic City Casino's and taking weekend trips.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband William, parents John and Jenny Purul ( nee Brzeinski ) and her granddaughter Melissa Barrett Swanson.
She is survived by her son William Barrett (Joyce-predeceased), daughters Karen Mauriello (Anthony) and Jane Romsteadt (Fred-predeceased).
Loving grandmother of Bill Barrett, Dana Romsteadt- O'Hara, Michael Romsteadt and Ashley Barrett. Great-grandmother of Alexandra Swanson, Billy Barrett, Caitlyn O'Hara, Abbey O'Hara and Michael F. Romsteadt.
Dear sister of Tom Purul (Lynne),Josephine Makuch (Nester-predeceased), Christine Murray (John) and Helen Ferriola (Frank).
She is predeceased by her sister Rose Andruschuk (Bruce), brothers John Purul (Mildred) and Joseph Purul, survived by her sister in law Dot Purul. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 10am - 11:45am with Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church 3rd&French Sts. Hammonton. Burial Gate of Heaven Cemetery Berlin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to EWTN (Eternal World Television Network) 5817 Old Leeds Rd.
