Clarence A. 'Babe' Perna

Clarence A. "Babe" Perna, passed away April 9, 2013 at his home. Babe was born in Rosedale and a Hammonton resident his entire life. He was a truck driver for Gardiner's Express, North Penn Transfer and for the past 10 years worked as a courier for File Annex. Babe served our country in the Korean War, where he was a corporal. He was a volunteer for the Hammonton Rescue Squad and Hammonton Vol. Fire Co #1 for over 55 years. Babe was the youngest of 12 Perna children. He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife of 59 years Minerva (nee Caruso). Dear father to his daughter Gerri Perna-Pruchnicki and husband Peter of Marmora and his son Gerard Perna. Loving grandfather of Trisha and Gerard J. Perna. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 9:00am - 11:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St.Martin de Porres Church S. Egg Harbor Rd and Park Ave. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at the Church. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. Arrangements entrusted to Marinella Funeral Home, Hammonton.
