Betty Jean Destefano

Betty J. DeStefano ( nee Inman ) age 77 of Hammonton, NJ died Thurs. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Predeceased by her husband Ernest, parents Willis and Mildred Inman, sister Ann Sloan, brother Willis Inman, Jr. and her special furry canine companion Russell Stover. Betty was a member and President of the Greenbank Washington Twp. PTA during her childrens early education years, worked as a nurses aid at W.B. Kessler Hospital, Deer Park Baking Co.and at Haines and Haines before retiring from Braddlee's Dept. Store in Pleasantville, NJ. Betty is survived by her children Ernest ( Sharon ) DeStefano, Scott ( Erika ) DeStefano and Debbie ( George ) Castine all of Hammonton, NJ, Rich ( Karen ) DeStefano and Steve ( Pam ) DeStefano both of Greenbank, NJ and Mike DeStefano of Chatsworth, NJ. Also surviving are her siblings Mary Eldrup of Pennsacola, FL, Efie Seaman and Nate ( Rosie ) Inman both of Whiting, NJ, George ( Lucille ) Inman of Grover Springs, MO, June ( Jack ) Collins of South Seaville, NJ. Sisters in Law of Dot DeStefano of Hammonton, NJ Ann Clark of BrownsMills, and Helen Brewer of Berlin, NJ. Loving grandmother of Dominic, Raquel, Matt, C.J., Nick, Tony, Alyssa, Michelle, Heather, Steve, Vince, Drew, Chelsea and Zach. Great Grandmother of Gavin, Grant and Shelby. Betty will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 7:00-9:00pm and Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parrish St. Anthony Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tues. 10:00am at the church. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
