Arthur H. Bird. Jr.

Arthur H. Bird Jr, 69, of Concord NH, and formerly of Absecon, NJ, died Tuesday, August 11th, at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Art was born on June 18, 1946 in Brockton, MA to the late Arthur H Bird and Charlotte (Mills) Bird. He graduated Atlantic City Friends School in 1965 and continued on to Central College in Pella, IA where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. Art worked for Continental Telecom Inc. from 1970 to 1985 before he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and retired on disability. Throughout his 35 year battle with MS, and his recent battle with Cancer, Art never lost his spirit and sense of humor. He is survived by his brother, Hank Bird and his wife Virginia Iuliucci Bird of Mays Landing NJ, his 3 children and their spouses, Rachel (Bird) Bolduc and Shawn D Bolduc of Deerfield NH, Ethan Bird and Sarah Defalco of Chester NH, Ashton Bird and Rachel Damalouji
of Severna Park MD, and his two granddaughters, Quincy and Tess Bolduc. A private family service will be held in NJ at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society. Arrangements by the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ.
