Anthony J. age 85 of Kennett Square, PA and formerly of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday May 23, 2016 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. Born in Philadelphia. on January 17, 1931. Graduate of Stephen Girard College class of 1949. West Chester University Class of 1954, MEd. degree from Penn State University 1956. He served in the U.S. Army in 1954 after college. Retired Assoc. Professor and Head Soccer Coach at Shippensburg University for 22 years. Loving husband of Alberta (Rusty) Puglisi, loving father of Marisa Kelso (Gregory), Nicole Spiewak (Daniel), deceased son Michael Puglisi. Grandfather of Julia Kelso, Alexander Kelso, Abigail Spiewak and Noah Spiewak. Brother of the late John Puglisi. Survived by dear sister Anna Gentile. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday from 10:00am - 11:30am at St. Mary of Mt.Carmel Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery 124 S. 1st Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Arrangements by the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Chester University Soccer Fund in his name: WCU Foundation, Men's Soccer Fund P.O. Box 541, West Chester, PA 19381, Tax ID: 23-3054174.
