Angelina D'Achillo

Angelia D’Achillo (nee Moribondo) age 98 of Elmtowne, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Angelina was born in Jersey City, NJ and spent many years in Philadelphia, PA before settling in Elmtowne, NJ in 1979. She loved the casino and playing bingo.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas D’Achillo, parents Gaetano and Francesca (nee Colagrosso) Moribondo, and her brother Charles and sisters Grace and Frances.

Angelina is survived by her sons Nicholas D’Achillo, Jr. (Ruth), Thomas (Soccora) and, her daughter Rosemary Castagna (Frank, deceased). She is the loving grandmother of six; Michelle, Nicholas, Stephanie, Thomas, Donna and Melissa, and great grandmother of six; Breanna, Laura, Dominic, Milana, Vienna, and Isabella, who will all miss their Nanny’s soup!

Her Roman Catholic Burial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 17, 2023 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church, corner of French and Third St. Hammonton, NJ 08037. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery 500 N White Horse Pike Hammonton, NJ 08037.
